It is the result of a dilatation of the small vessels of the skin, often due to a specific stimulus, with an elastic lining and which therefore dilates very easily and remain as so for some time when in normal cases, they should return to their normal caliber. After a certain time of evolution of this pathology, the small vessels remain dilated and are therefore constantly visible to the naked eye. This is called couperose.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span class=\"s2\">Varicosities:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Varicosities, most often located on the lower limb, are the expression of neo-vascularization development which follows an impairment of the vascular network upwind. They are not \u201cdangerous\u201d per se but can be due to a core anomaly, which is why any laser treatment will be preceded by a Doppler ultrasound check. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s2\"><strong>Angiomas:<\/strong> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">An angioma is a benign blood vessels\u2019 malformation, causing deformation of their shape and structure and responsible for persistent local redness. Angiomas may be of congenital origin or appear gradually along life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span class=\"s2\">Principle of the vascular laser\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The laser gets through the skin without damaging it and will directly \u201cmeet\u201d the lining of the small targeted vessels. The local heat supply causes a vascular spasm that is visible to the naked eye by the doctor during the treatment. This proves the effectiveness of the treatment which will gradually lead to the disappearance of the vessel. Thereafter, a local inflammation is created and causes local redness. It is possible to put \u201cmake-up\u201d on the redness, it can persist as so for a few days. It is necessary to do 2 to 4 sessions with two months interval to get to the bottom of the targeted vessels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Erythrosis, rosacea, varicosities and angiomas occur secondary to weaknesses felt in the vascular system. This leads to the fact that these abnormalities can recur and hence require maintenance treatment which will be adapted to each patient.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Angiomas\u2019 treatment does not generally require maintenance treatment but may require repeating sessions, as mentioned before, to make it completely disappear during the shock<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many problems suchs as erythrosis, couperose, variscosities and angiomas can be treated and taken care off by using a vascular laser.
